Gaston Julia’s doodle
This doodle was dedicated to Julia’s 111th birthday in 2004.
Julia (3 February 1893 – 19 March 1978) was a French mathematician which work on fractals received the Grand Prix of the Académie des Sciences. His work was forgotten later until Benoît Mandelbrot mentioned it in his works.
